Privacy Policy

Short version: this site collects very little, sells nothing, and does not build a profile of you.

What is collected

• Server logs. Our host records the usual technical lines for every request — IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser’s user-agent string. These are used to keep the site running and to spot abuse, and they are discarded on a rolling schedule.
• Email you send us. If you write to the address on the contact page, we keep your message and address for as long as it takes to deal with it, and usually for a while afterwards in case the thread resumes.

What is not collected

We do not ask you to create an account. We do not run advertising. We do not operate a newsletter or a mailing list. We set no tracking or advertising cookies of our own. We do not take payment and therefore never see card details. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors across sessions or across sites.

Third parties

Web fonts are loaded from a third-party font service, which means your browser makes a request to that service and it will see your IP address in the ordinary way of any web request. Aside from our hosting provider and that font service, no third party receives data from this site.

Selling and sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade or share personal information with anyone. There is no arrangement under which any data from this site is passed to an advertiser, broker or partner, because there are no advertisers, brokers or partners.

Your choices

You can browse this site with cookies disabled and with a content blocker running; nothing here depends on either. If you have written to us and would like your message and address deleted from our inbox, ask at editor@aro-nhl.com and we will do it and confirm.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised text replaces this one on this page. The site is small enough that there is no version history to maintain.
